Owner James B founded Brayfield Labradors with his family roots in mind. Named after the small English countryside town he fondly remembers visiting as a child, Brayfield Labradors aims to give you that same sense of loyalty and joy when you come home every day to an English Lab who’s number one goal is to make you smile. James’ focus is on breeding puppies with the qualities most sought after in a dog. English Labs more closely resemble the breed conformation standard, with a calm and docile demeanor while the “American” Labrador are full of energy and ready to work like hunting dogs, they are best paired with someone with an active outdoor lifestyle. Brayfield Labs intends for you to go home with a confident, social, and ready-to-train puppy.
Brayfield Labradors is not a business, it’s a PASSION based on a COMMITMENT to bettering the breed based on LOVE and INTEGRITY. Our adoption parents are a community of like minded people, focused on raising premium family dogs that are more than a dog, they are family (join our instagram). We have over eight years of experience, breeding premium Labrador Retrievers in Central/Coastal Southern California at an average rate of ONE litter per year and raised in our home. We have sent our dogs to loving homes all over California, from San Diego to the Bay Area and as far away as New Hampshire and Tennessee.
